A 21-year-old woman who faces charges in the death of a Rock Island teenager is back in the Quad Cities.
Chelsea Raker made her first court appearance on Saturday, June 18, 2016, at the Rock Island County Justice Center.
Raker was arrested last month in Chatham County, Georgia, in connection with the shooting death of 15-year-old Jescie Armstrong in April. Raker is charged with first degree murder and aiding a fugitive to flee.
Another teenager, 17-year-old Kire Carr, also faces charges in the shooting.
The judge set a preliminary hearing for Raker on Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at 11 a.m.
