During a search of his home, police found several weapons and hundreds of rounds of ammunition.

PEORIA, Illinois — We're learning more about what caused a lockdown at Caterpillar in Peoria last month. Police say Larry Coleman, 63, made threats to "shoot up" the facility.

Coleman had worked for Caterpillar, but was laid off.

The facility went on lockdown Friday, May 20, 2016 and a spokesperson said law enforcement officers were placed at the Peoria-area facilities.

During a search of his home, police found several weapons and hundreds of rounds of ammunition. Coleman was found in St. Louis, Missouri, where he is reportedly receiving treatment at a hospital.

So far, there's no word on whether he will face charges.
