One man was hurt after a projectile hit him in the head outside a Davenport bar.
On Saturday, June 4, 2016, police responded to Fire House Bar & Grill on Hickory Grove Road for a possible gunshot victim. Crews found a 43-year-old man who had been hit in the head while in the patio area of the bar. He was taken to Genesis Hospital.
While investigating, officers found “a projectile” which possibly hit the victim. Police say the projectile was not a bullet.
Detectives are still investigating the incident.
