BETTENDORF, Iowa – An Iowa man is accused of threatening to post nude photos online unless the woman in the photos gave him money and sex.

Bradley Richard Williams, 30, of La Porte City, Iowa, was arrested Wednesday, May 25, 2016, after his alleged victim showed threatening messages from him to police, according to an affidavit filed in Scott County Court.

Williams threatened to post “video and photographs of the victim either unclothed and/or engaged in sexual acts if she refused to pay him money and engage in additional sexual intercourse (with him or another person)” the affidavit said.

The victim feared her parents and other people she knew might see the images; she showed police text messages from her phone, which allegedly documented the threats from Williams, the affidavit said.

“The text messages document threats made by (Williams) to put said pictures and video on the Internet if the victim did not pay him various denominations of money and/or have sex…in exchange for a promise that said video and/or pictures would not be put on the Internet,” the affidavit said.

Williams was charged with one felony count of extortion.  He was held in the Scott County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash-only bond.
