WEST BRANCH, Iowa (AP) — No students were injured after a school bus collided with a semi-truck in eastern Iowa.
Cedar Rapids television station KCRG reports the bus carrying elementary students crashed Thursday afternoon into the back of a turning semi. Iowa troopers say the collision happened at an intersection southeast of West Branch.
The West Branch Community School District students were placed on another bus to wait for their parents. Paramedics were on the scene to treat any minor bumps or bruises.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash. No injuries were reported.
