Robber reportedly demands money in the drive through at Davenport Dunkin’ Donuts

The robbery suspect went through the drive through and demanded money from the clerk at the window, according to Davenport Police.

DAVENPORT, Iowa -- A robbery was reported in the drive through at Dunkin' Donuts on West Locust Street.

The robbery suspect went through the drive through and demanded money from the clerk at the window, according to Davenport Police.  It happened around 9:45 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2016.

"The suspect implied he had a weapon, but no weapon was displayed," read a statement from police.

The suspect was described as a male, about 5-feet, 7-inches tall, with a thin build, according to a statement from Davenport Police.

Initial reports indicated that he got away with all of the money in the register.  Davenport Police later said that he "fled with an undisclosed amount of cash."

There were no reported injuries.
