Hobby Lobby recalls baby rattles that pose a choking risk

Hobby Lobby is recalling thousands of baby rattles because they pose a choking risk.

The rattles, Little Wishes Chenille Stuffed Rattles, can separate at the seams, potentially exposing the fiber stuffing and bell rattle, according to a statement from the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The recalled rattles are the Pink & Green Fish rattles- item number 5141577, and the Blue & Yellow Fish rattles- item number 5127642.  They are 8.5-inches by 7-inches and have a hole in the center.

Look for the item number on the top left corner of the product’s hang tag.  Rattles have a sewn-in label with “Reg. No. PA-15130(CN)” and “Hobby Lobby 9123069” printed on the front of the label.

About 14,400 rattles are included in the recall.  They were sold exclusively at Hobby Lobby stores all over the country from January through April of 2016.

There have been no injuries reported.

If you have one of these rattles, you should immediately stop using it and return it to the nearest Hobby Lobby store for a full refund or store credit.
