ELDRIDGE, Iowa – A 55-year-old woman was hospitalized in intensive care after she was thrown from a vehicle when it overturned.
Kandy Allison was ejected when she lost control of the Mercury SUV she was driving, southbound in the 21000 block of Scott Park Road, and the vehicle overturned, according to a statement from the Scott County Sheriff’s Department. Police were called to the crash, at the Mt. Joy Mobile Home Park, just before 4 p.m. Sunday, May 15, 2016.
Allison was taken to a local hospital and later airlifted to a hospital in Iowa City where she was in stable condition, the statement said.
