EAST MOLINE, Illinois-Police say complaints from two parents lead to an investigation into a Quad City coach and former baseball standout sexting underage girls.

Tom Lindauer was fired as an assistant basketball coach at United Township in East Moline in February.

Police say they found evidence Lindauer was using his cellphone to"lure" and "seduce" six minors, all underage, all high schoolers from East Moline and Moline.

One text sent by the 24-year old Lindauer, an ex Quad City Riverbandits baseball player,  reads "Be old enough for me to invite you over. Dangit. Be older please. So I can hang out with you...So we can legally do things.

The girl responded "Oh my".

Lindauer: Sorry I wanna be able to hang out together. No because I'm gonna wait.

Girl: "No".

Lindauer: "No what?!???

GIrl: "This is not okay this is weird and illegal!!!!

Lindauer plead guilty to one count of felony grooming,  for " texting messages and photographs stating that he wanted to have sexual intercourse with Jane Doe", according to  papers in Lindauer's court file.

Lindauer was charged, arraigned, plead guilty, and sentenced all in the same day.

He was sentenced to two years probation and  ordered to register as a sex offender for ten years.
