Fake $100 bills have been reported around Dixon, Illinois and police are looking for help in identifying a suspect.
Two businesses reported receiving counterfeit money: Snyder’s Pharmacy on Thursday, May 6, 2016 and Walgreen’s Pharmacy on Friday, police say. Both $100 bills were reportedly passed off by the same person.
Police say he was last seen driving a blue Chrysler Sebring.
“The Dixon Police Department would like to ask the help of the public in identifying a subject and to warn area businesses of counterfeit bills being passed,” read a police statement.
