An officer with the Muscatine Police Department showed true compassion in the way he rescued two baby ducklings.
The ducklings had fallen into a street drain, according to a post on the department’s Facebook page. As the pictures show, Officer Jensen fearlessly got in to the drain and rescued the baby ducks.
It happened on Colorado Street. The post went up around 1 p.m. Monday, May 9, 2016.
