New QC veteran owned business has big dreams

Community members and business leaders joined together to welcome a small business into the Quad Cities – True Position Manufacturing.

DAVENPORT, Iowa — Community members and business leaders joined together to welcome a small business into the Quad Cities - True Position Manufacturing.

The company is a service-disabled and veteran-owned business. They make metal and plastic machine parts for major manufacturers.

Right now, they have five employees and one building but this small business has big dreams.

"We'd love to open 30 buildings, and have about 3,000 employees, you know, in the next couple years we do look forward to increasing our capabilities," said David Stires, president.

The company started working on small projects in February and are ready to officially be open for business.
