DAVENPORT, Iowa — A medical problem led to a fatal crash in Davenport around 11:20 a.m. Thursday, May 5.
Police say the medical issue left the driver of a Dodge pickup truck unrepsonive behind the wheel, causing the truck to hit a parked truck along the north side of Rockingham Road. Despite performing “life saving measures,” the driver was declared dead upon arriving at Genesis East.
The medical issue is considered by police to be the main cause of the crash.
The driver has not yet been identified and no other injuries have been reported.
