It’s time to channel your inner five-year-old again, because the Insane Inflatable 5k is coming back to the Quad Cities!
Insane Inflatable 5k will be in Davenport, Iowa on Saturday, July 16, 2016, according to their schedule. The course will be set up at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds off of Locust Street.
The 3.1 mile course includes 11 obstacles,that you can run through, climb up, slide down, and jump on. Click here to see all the obstacles.
Insane Inflatable 5k launched in 2014, and it came to Davenport, Iowa for the first time in 2015. Runners said that the obstacles were actually pretty tough, but worth the work.
“It was so much fun,” said 2015 participant Kristine Noppe. “Some of the obstacles are really hard, but if you don’t want to do them, you can walk around them.”
Noppe explained that it’s more than what a typical 5k brings, you use your arms, legs, and “moving around a lot more than you would if you were if you were just running or walking.”
Runners who sign up by Friday, May 6 will pay $54. The price gradually goes up every few weeks. It will cost at least $75 if you register the day of.
