Police and fire departments across the country have been challenging each other to flash-mob style dancing.

The New York Police Department responded to a dance challenge from the New Zealand Police Recruitment team.  The #RunningManChallenge has been making its way around fire and police departments globally.

The New Zealand Police posted their flash mob dance on Monday, May 2, 2016.

“We catch people on the run every day, this was a new #runningmanchallenge for our team,” read the post.  They then asked if NYPD and several other departments were up for it.

The officers all danced to “My Boo” by the Ghost Town DJs, and nailed it!

Of the departments that the NYPD challenged to the #RunningManChallenge, Police Scotland was one. They put their own Scottish spin on the challenge before breaking into “My Boo.”
