ROCK ISLAND COUNTY, Illinois — I-80 eastbound is closed at mile marker 6 in Illinois due to a semi stuck in a construction zone. Traffic is backing up into Iowa, according to the Illinois Department of Transportation.
The detour is I-80 eastbound to I-88 eastbound.
Viewers say they were stuck in standstill traffic for at least a half an hour before detouring.
