A motorcyclist was injured when he hit a deer in Henry County, Iowa.
The 45-year-old man from Salem, Iowa was riding his 2013 Harley Davidson near the 2600 Grid of Franklin Avenue around midnight Sunday, April 24, 2016. According to a statement from the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, he hit a deer in the roadway.
The motorcyclist was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, the statement said.
The damage was estimated to be more than $1,500.
