Gunfire reported in two locations in Davenport, Iowa

Two reports of gunfire were reported in Davenport, Iowa late Sunday night, Sunday, April 24, 2016.

Two incidents of gunfire were reported in two different locations in Davenport, Iowa.

The first shots were reported just before 11 p.m. Sunday, April 24, 2016 in the 400 block of South Lincoln Avenue, according to Davenport Police.  Shortly after the gunfire was reported, a foot chase started in the 2000 block of 1st Street.

Several more shots were reported around 12:30 a.m. near 14th and Gaines Streets. The two locations are about 10 blocks away from each other.

There were no injuries in either incident.  No word on whether any arrests were made.

Police were working to determine if the two cases were related.
