DAVENPORT, Iowa-- Young artist showed off their prized work at the Figge Museum.
Students from 19 Davenport schools received a certificate for their artistic achievements, their work has been on display at the museum for the past week. Parents and students artist say they couldn't be more proud of the work hanging on display.
"It's very rewarding because he's happy to be here and happy to have shown some of his art from school," says Joyce Werning about her son's drawing that was recognized during the event.
Guest invited to enjoy the exhibit were also encouraged to create artwork of their own at the museum.
