GALESBURG, Illinois — A driver was killed in an early morning crash in Galesburg, Illinois Saturday, April 23.
The Illinois State Police say a Honda was traveling on U.S. 34 at North Henderson Street in Galesburg around 6:20 a.m. when the driver lost control of the vehicle and struck a guardrail.
The car rolled over and the driver was ejected from the car.
The driver was later identified as 30-year-old Jacob R. Lynch of Galesburg, according to a statement from Illinois State Police issued Tuesday morning, April 26. Lynch was the only occupant in his car at the time of the crash, the statement said.
