DAVENPORT, Iowa – An armed man reportedly robbed a cash advance business in the middle of the day in Davenport, Iowa.
“The suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money from the clerk” during the robbery that happened at Advance America, 1800 E. Kimberly Road, at about 12:45 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2016 according to a statement from Davenport Police.
No shots were fired and no injuries were reported. The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.
The suspect was described as a black man, 5-feet 6-inches tall, who weighed about 150 pounds.
