Refrigerated salads sold in Illinois, roughly 30 other states, and a Canadian province have been recalled due to a possible health risk.
Reser’s Fine Foods, Inc. recalled 19 products because one of the ingredient suppliers said that some of the onions used in the salads could be contaminated with Listeria, according to the Food and Drug Administration.
The products were sold in plastic containers marked with a Use By Date and the #10 at the end of the line of print. They were sold between March 22, 2016 and April 10, 2016.
Check the code and use by dates below to see if you have any of these products. If you have them, do not eat them.

According to the FDA, you can take these products back to the store for a refund or you can throw them away.
“No illnesses have been reported to date,” read the FDA’s alert.
Listeria monocytogenes can cause serious infections and can sometimes be fatal in young children, frail or elderly people, or those with weakened immune systems, the FDA said. Symptoms of an infection can include high fever, headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. A Listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.
