DIXON, Illinois — Construction work on I-80 bridge over the Mississippi River will being 7 a.m. Saturday, April 9, weather permitting.
Illinois Department of Transportation workers will be repairing the expansion joint at the north end of the bridge in the eastbound lanes. In order to make repairs, the eastbound traffic lanes will be closed from 7 a.m. April 9 - noon Sunday, April 10.
I-80 traffic will be detoured to I-280 during this closure.
