The first part of the project, which started in September of 2014, closed down several blocks of River Drive in Moline for months.  The roadway was opened for winter, but it picked back up again the following May.

On Monday, March 28, 2016, the project started closing down lanes on the bridge.  Drivers will have to keep in mind that there will also be closures to ramps and interchanges from south of 7th Avenue to the Mississippi River bridge during the construction.
