A sudden hit of snow rolled through the Quad Cities and viewers were spotting some above-average flakes.
This came after a morning of thunderstorms. Just before 9 a.m. Thursday, March 24, thunderstorms, fog and mist was reported in the Quad Cities, according to the National Weather Service.
By the afternoon, flakes were falling hard and the roads were getting covered.
