BEIJING (AP) — A Chinese man, who is a former University of Iowa student, has pleaded guilty to killing his girlfriend while in the U.S., according to a court in eastern China. Both of them attended the Iowa school.
Officials say Li Xiangnan entered the plea to murder during a daylong hearing Wednesday, March 24, 2016.
Previous reports indicate that Shao Tong had last been heard from on September 8, 2014 and was reported missing on September 17. Almost 10 days later, her body was found.
