ROCK ISLAND, Illinois -- A local auto body shop is making sure kids in our area have an Easter basket on Sunday.

Ricky's Auto Body in Rock Island has been filled with Easter baskets. Owner Andy Rodriguez started a Facebook page called "QC Pay It Forward," where he posted that he wanted to help out families in need.

From there, the donations came in. They've made more than 600 Easter baskets to hand out to families in the Quad Cities.

"As a business owner I've ran through some really hard times and I didn't know how I was going to get out of what I'm doing but thank God that God's been on my side, He's been able to bless me, so I just bless other people for that reason," said Rodriguez.

Rodriguez says they'll stop collecting donations on Friday and will hand out the baskets on Saturday.
