Two cars crashed on Illinois Route 84 north in front of the ramp to westbound Interstate 80.
The crash happened around 7 a.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2016. Crews were directing traffic onto the on-ramp for I-80. The cars coming from the off-ramp were at a standstill; traffic was backed up about a half-mile.
The Rock Island County Sheriff's Department, and medical personnel were on scene.
No word on what caused the crash.
