Moline Special Olympics team wins silver at state basketball competition

Congratulations to the Moline High School Special Olympics Basketball team for their silver medal finish at the Illinois State Basketball Competition.

The team won one of two games to finish second in their division at the competition held March 11 and 12 in Bloomington.  Senior Logan Frazelle also took the bronze medal in the individual skills competition.

Moline High School is the only high school in the Illinois Quad Cities that has a Special Olympics basketball team according to coach Jerilyn Hocker.

This was the second year the team competed at the state level.
