An overnight wreck in a Davenport, Iowa neighborhood seriously injured the driver of a Chevy Monte Carlo.
The crash happened just before 3 a.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2016, according to the Davenport Police. The only person in the Chevy was the driver, later identified as 21-year-old Kevin Frasure, who crashed at the intersection of 13th Street and Iowa Street.
Police said “a loss of control coupled with excessive speeds contributed to the crash.”
The driver was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries, according to police. As of Tuesday, March 15 he remained in the hospital.
