The train, bound for Chicago jumped the tracks 20 miles west of Dodge City. WLS-TV, the ABC affiliate in Chicago, reports 7 cars are on their sides. There were 128 passengers and 14 crew members on the train that originated in Los Angeles.

The train's route has a stop in Galesburg as it travels onward to Chicago.
