DAVENPORT, Iowa — Dunkin’ Donuts will celebrate their new store opening in Davenport by giving away free donuts. Beginning 7 a.m. Friday, March 4, the first 50 guests to stop in the new location at 2519 E. 53rd Street in Davenport will receive a free box of a dozen donuts.
From 7-9 a.m. DJ Todd Alan with KISS-FM 101.3 will broadcast live from the store and Sudlow Intermediate band students will perform from 7:30-8:15 a.m. The Quad Cities Mallards mascot arrives for a visit at 8 a.m.
A ribbon cutting will be performed at 9 a.m. in the presence of Davenport Mayor Klipsch and representatives from both the Putnam Museum and The Hari Group.
The new location opened for business Monday, Feb. 29, and is the Hari Group’s third Dunkin’ Donuts store. The location offers a drive through window and offers coffee drinks and desert type items as well as donuts.
The store employees about 50 people and is open 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. all seven days of the week.
