A Dunkin’ Donuts restaurant opened on East 53rd Street in Davenport, Iowa on Leap Day 2016.
The doughnut shop opened on Monday, February 29, at 5 a.m. and makes for the third Dunkin’ Doughnuts in the Quad Cities. The second is at Locust Street in Davenport and the third is on Avenue of the Cities in Moline.
The restaurant is located at 2517 E. 53rd Street. It has a drive-thru window and will be open every day from 5 a.m. until 10 p.m. Almost 50 people are employed by this Dunkin’ Donuts.
“We are proud to serve the hard-working people of Davenport, and hope to become a popular destination and an everyday routine for guests looking for high-quality coffee, snacks, and sandwhiches delivered fast in a friendly environment at an affordable price,” said Raj B. Patel with The Hari Group, which owns the QC’s three Dunkin’ Donuts.
Owners planned to hold a grand opening celebration on Friday, March 4; the opening was set to support the Putnam Museum.
