WATERLOO, Iowa (AP) — A Waterloo school principal has been accused of driving drunk.

Black Hawk County sheriff’s deputies say they arrested the woman Friday and charged her with operating while intoxicated, first offense. A deputy says the woman was driving erratically before being pulled over. Court records say her breath tested out at nearly twice the legal limit.

There is no public home phone number listed for the woman, 39-year-old Amber Dietz. She didn’t immediately return email or office phone messages left Monday by The Associated Press and her attorney didn’t immediately return a phone message.

She’s listed in the school website as principal at Kingsley Elementary School.
