The QC Community Hunger Drive is a campaign sponsored by the River Bend Foodbank. The purpose is to give businesses and other organizations the chance to think of fun creative ways to collect food.

Elliot Aviation in Moline is one company taking the lead.

The company divided itself into teams to see who can bring in the most food, so far they've collected more than 1800 pounds of food so far.

"We set an ambitious goal for the first time just to see what we could do with it so far so good. I think this is a good start," says Toni Jensen, Elliot Aviation employee.

Over 30 organizations are participating in the QCommunity Hunger Drive. The campaign will end next Monday, when each organization will drop off their collected food to River Bend.
