High winds were shoving vehicles around on the highways Friday, February 19, 2016. A wind advisory had been issued for the Quad Cities area from the morning hours until 6 p.m.
Semi rollover crashes were being reported by the Iowa Department of Transportation. Multiple semis on Interstate 35 overturned in Iowa’s northern counties.
KCCI out of Des Moines also reported multiple rollovers “due to high winds.”
