The Holderness Family – well known for their ‘Christmas Jammies‘ and other fun videos – has created a new music video sure to win the hearts of parents who work hard just to get everyone up and out the door each day.
They parodied the Boyz II Men hit “It’s so hard to say goodbye,” calling their version “It’s so hard to get them out the door.”
“This was the easiest song we’ve ever written. Because it happens to us. Every. Day,” says the Holderness Family post in which they shared the new video Tuesday, February 16, 2016.
Short of their strategy, one mom says she understands the struggle and found her own way to cope. She posted this:
“I reached my limit once! I let them sleep in on a school day! They woke up already an hour late for school!!! They were freaked out and panicked. They wanted to know WHY I COULD’VE done such a horrible thing to them? The kicker was, I told them I only drive kids to school at 8:00 am! They had to walk! (It was only a mile!). They cried the whole way! But they woke up from then on!”
