Couples in the Quad Cities enjoyed their Valentine's Day at the Watch Tower Lodge.

The annual Valentine Indoor Music and Moonlight Walk event featured freshly fried donuts and live music provided by the local folk music band Just4fun.

"Its amazing, I mean all people from different generations I just saw some folks with the baby all covered up and little kids out dancing and grandparents and teenagers and its just a family event-- its a community event," said Beth Carvey, the director of Hauberg Museum.

Couples could take a stroll outside the lodge on a luminary-lit trail but most chose to stay warm by the fire place out of the cold. This free event was sponsored by the Black Hawk State Historic Site and the Citizens to Preserve Black Hawk Park Foundation.
