Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina announced Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2016, that she has officially suspended her campaign. The announcement came after she placed seventh in the New Hampshire primary at 4.1 percent of the vote.
Fiorina posted full comments to her Facebook page, where she spoke of feminism and the importance of serving our country.
"As I have said to the many wonderful Americans I have met throughout this campaign, a leader is a servant whose highest calling is to unlock potential in others. I will continue to serve in order to restore citizen government to this great nation so that together we may fulfill our potential," read her statement.
Last week, Fiorina made news when she publicly pushed to be invited to the GOP debate.
