Charges filed for bar fight at Hawkeye Tap in Davenport

After a bar fight that left five people hurt - including three who suffered stab wounds - police say they have filed charges in the case.

Mark Hudson, 22, of Davenport, was arrested Wednesday, February 3, 2016, in connection with the fight that happened at the Hawkeye Tap, 4600 Cheyenne, on January 16.  Three people suffered stab wounds from an unknown object, police said, and those three were taken by ambulance to a local hospital.

Hudson was charged with one felony count of assault causing serious injury, and one felony count of assault causing bodily injury.

Jail records showed Hudson was held in the Scott County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bond.

"This is an ongoing investigation and additional charges are pending," said a statement from the Davenport Police Department.
