A pick up truck driver in Milan was able to escape his vehicle after it caught on fire Monday, January 18, 2016.
The driver tells News 8 his vehicle caught on fire around 6:45 a.m. Monday on I-280 Westbound near Airport Road. The exit to Airport Road was blocked off for a short amount of time, but crews have reopened it.
The truck driver was not injured. I-280 remained open during the incident.
