A Roseville, Illinois woman is helping women going through chemotherapy.

Business owner Sandy Campbell has worked for 40 years, making her customers look good, but she's also been helping women going through chemotherapy, look good too.

"We meet with those women, help them with all the problems that they're having with their skin, loss of hair, their eyebrows," Campbell said. "We teach them different things to make their time in treatment a bit easier."

Campbell is the area trainer for Look Good Feel Better, a group that helps women going through chemotherapy, by giving them beauty lessons, for free, making them 'look good and feel better.'

"The ladies always say just how much better they feel, but I'm always the one that receives the blessing," Campbell said. "It's just wonderful to work with them to see how strong they are, to see all their smiling faces when they leave."

Campbell will do the makeup for the women and also give them a wig. All those wigs are stored right at her store.

"Hopefully we can find something that will fit them, their hair color, their needs, and we work with them until it looks good on them."

Campbell and Danielle Beard have known each other since high school. The work that Campbell does, was so inspiring to Beard, that she nominated Campbell for a Pay It Forward, sponsored by News 8 and Ascentra Credit Union.

Campbell calls Look Good Feel Better a very well kept secret, that not many people know about. She never intends for people to need the program, but many do end up needing it. If you're interested in learning more about the program, click here.
