Charles "Chuck" Schoaf, age 70, was last seen by his family on Saturday evening, December 26, according to a statement from Morrison, Illinois' Chief of Police Brian Melton.  Chuck was reported missing at 10 a.m. on Monday.

Around 5 p.m. the day he was reported missing, Chuck's vehicle was found along Illinois Route 92 in Henry County, just east of the Rock River Bridge, Melton said in his statement.  The vehicle, a 2005 Saturn ION, was found by the Henry  County Sheriff's Office roughly 30 miles from his home.

Chuck wears glasses and may have on jeans, a sweatshirt, and boots, according to Melton's statement.  Chuck is described as being 5-feet, 11-inches tall and weighing 170 pounds. He has brown/gray hair and blue eyes.

Police said Chuck has a heart condition with high blood pressure.
