ALVA, Okla. – An irate customer allegedly drove his truck through the front lobby of an Oklahoma hotel, and it was caught on camera.

Police were called to the Comfort Inn and Suites in Alva, Oklahoma, after 62-year-old John Parsley allegedly became upset over a charge to his debit card Thursday, December 10, 2015.

A hotel employee said the charge was a pre-authorization, and not a completed charge, because his debit card was actually declined when he tried to use it at the hotel.  Parsley actually had to pay in cash, according to a report from CNN.

As the officer was trying to calm the man down, the man allegedly threw the truck into drive and sped toward the front entrance, slamming into the lobby.

Surveillance cameras captured two workers barely escaping injury as part of the front desk was destroyed.

According to the police report, Parsley told the officer the hotel staff thought he was bluffing when he said he was going to run his truck over them, and he proved he wasn’t.

Parsley was arrested for assault and malicious injury to property.
