The Harlem Globetrotters spent time with kids from Tudi's Tribe and at a local school, setting an example for supporting others.

"Buckets" Blakes and "El Gato" Melendez visited with local pediatric cancer patients, including Parker Dumser from Bettendorf, Iowa.  Parker just finished a year-long course of chemotherapy; Tudi's Tribe - which provides support to kids with cander - helped him meet members of the Globetrotters in Moline, Illinois.

"We've had such a long, long year," said Parker's mother Kristin Dumser, "and for him to be able to have some fun?  It just means the world to us."

After their visit to Moline, team members went on to see students at Wilson Elementary School in Davenport, Iowa, where they spoke about bullying prevention.

"What we do is talk about action, bravery and compassion," said Anthony 'Buckets' Blakes, as he explained their approach to the ABCs of bullying prevention.

The team celebrates its 90th anniversary this year, and they'll be back in the Quad Cities January 9, 2016, when they play at the iWireless Center.
