A 78-year-old man died when he was accidentally pinned beneath a grain wagon in rural Elizabeth, Illinois.
Wendell Roberts was working on the grain wagon when it fell off a jack used to hold it up Sunday afternoon, December 6, 2015. Someone called 911 to report the incident just after 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
Mr. Roberts operated a repair shop at his home address.
Roberts was pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident, according to information from the Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s Office.
