A gunman got away with money when he robbed a gas station in Bettendorf, Iowa.

The suspect was armed with a handgun when he demanded money from the store clerk at Lund’s 66, 975 Spruce Hills Drive, just before 7:30 p.m. Thursday, December 3, 2015.  He left on foot after he got an undisclosed amount of money; the clerk was not hurt.

The suspect was described as a slender black man in his late 20s, six-feet two-inches tall, wearing a zip-up hooded sweatshirt and dark-colored sweatpants.  His face was covered with a bandana.

Anyone with information about the robbery or the suspect should call 911, according to the spokesperson for the City of Bettendorf.
