Construction on Harrison Street in Davenport, Iowa is expected to be done quicker than anticipated.
The project manager overseeing the construction told News 8 that the roadway would reopen on Sunday, December 6, 2015.
The construction began in early August. Workers started by closing down part of the street; the full closure began later in the month. The roadway was originally supposed to reopen by December 28.
While Harrison Street was closed, Brady Street became a two-way street. Traffic was expected to become one-way again as soon as Saturday, December 5.
