Welcome to the beginning of Winter! Well, not officially. The purists call the Winter Solstice the beginning of the season, but December 1st marks the first day of "Meteorological Winter." Since we Meteorologists are a welcoming bunch, I gave a free bear hug this morning.
Quite simply put, Metorological Winter is the three coldest calendar months of the year. And as you'd guess, Summer is the warmest three months.
Even though we're entering one of the coldest months of the year, it won't feel like it. We're headed into the 50s for a few days. Click here for the Extended Forecast.
