One week after Iowa State University’s head football coach was fired, another coach committed to take over.

It was announced that Coach Paul Rhoads was being let go from the Cyclones football program on Sunday, November 22, 2015.  He coached his last game on Saturday, November 28 at Morgantown in West Virginia.

The new coach, Matt Campbell, agreed on Sunday, November 29 to take over as the Cyclones' head coach, according to a report by The Blade.  Campbell is coming from the University of Toledo in Ohio.

Campbell joined Toledo's coaching staff in December of 2011, when he became the youngest head coach in the NCAA Division I FBS, according to the University of Toledo's athletics website. 

Coach Rhoads was with the Cyclones for seven seasons.
